I was standing in the checkout line tonight at Publix when the latest issue of Reader’s Digest caught my eye. You can see the cover in the attached picture. While I was waiting in line I quickly scanned the magazine and didn’t see any mention of the iPhone. You figure a magazine with a picture of the iPhone with horns and a tail on the cover would have something about the iPhone. I took a note on my iPhone to check out the Reader’s Digest website when I got home.

Just before typing this I did a quick search for iPhone on the Reader’s Digest website. Guess what? Even though the iPhone was on the cover of the latest issue, a search for iPhone yielded ZERO results. Someone at Macenstein even bought the issue and also found “not one mention of the iPhone”. Given the recent trend of using the iPhone for publicity, I’m making the prediction that Greenpeace will be featured in the next issue of Reader’s Digest.
